[Background]
Historical figure - This is the background for the historical figure which the character is meant to represent/be a reincarnation for.
As for the Yukimura outside of the search and battle over Oda Nobunaga remains and Oni not much has been revealed. In this life Yukimura has become a school teachers of kindergarten, and while he seems to be loved by his students he is something of a doormat and is easily bossed around by the children.
Eventually though as one that is bound and has a blood contract with an Oni, and as the reincarnation of the legendary Nobushige 'Yukimura' Sanda, he was approached by Sakura and Tachibana of the Urashichiken on behalf of Hidetsugu Toyotomi. Yukimura was sought out for the approaching conflict with Iemitsu Tokugawa and asked that even if he decides not to side with the Toyotomi that at the very least he not side with Tokugawa either, as it would be troublesome. It is his battle with Sakura and the fact that the other is able to stand against him in a fight that persuades Yukimura to side with the Toyotomi, prompting him to move to Kyoto and begin working at a school there in addition to moving into the district of Kamishichicken.
[Personality]
There are two distinct personalities which are displayed by Yukimura Sanda in the series of Gate 7, the first personality is that which is displayed by 'the teacher'. It is a very light hearted and upbeat personality in which he smiles frequently and has a very soft and caring voice. Though he is also an extreme doormat and has a tendency to beg and plead others rather than directing and commanding. It goes so far that even his students at the kindergarten are able to boss him around easily and tell him to shut up. 'The teacher' doesn't seem to like arguing or fighting, but seems to have a talent for getting students to enjoy his company; though they still frequently boss him around. Also in this mindset he is clumsy, falling and tripping frequently while demonstrating a ditzy demeanor.
The second personality is that of a warrior, closer to the personality and traits reported of the historical figure Nobushige Sanada. Yukimura the warrior is resolved and unwavering. Once he has made a decision it is not one that he will over turn. Though he is also careful and calculating with his movements and decisions. As a general that once plays a role in the siege of Osaka Castle, Yukimura wields and responds to strength and talent; enjoying fighting and putting his life on the line to the fullest in combat. His personalty is much more demanding and straightforward during this time, and he seems a separate person referring to the other as 'the teacher' as is seen when telling two of the braves to clean the room since he mops it himself and the teacher's arms can't reach a certain spot.
In each way Yukimura seems to hold some fondness or respect for Hana, as well as earning some respect from Sakura and Tachibana for his knowledge of the first tree's name as well as his strength in battle.
[Abilities]
Blood contract – Yukimura has a blood comtranct with the oni Engetsu. As such he is able to summon and merge with the oni which increases his speed, strength, and stamana.
Summon – Yukimura is able to summon Engetsu at any time. He also seems capable of summoning the 10 braves, however he will not be capable of doing this in Somarium.
Hand to hand combat: Despite his small stature and thing frame, he excels at hand to hand combat and is able to deliver heavy blows easily.

The name of his Oni is Engetsu, which appears in a canine form which he can fuse with.

- There is a cake in the rain. What do you do?
[There's a slightly baffled look on the man's face before a bright smile appears.] That's a strange question. I would probably clean it up so one of the kids didn't step in it and make a mess. Though it's not good that they would have dropped it and left it there.
- If you could go back home, would you? Why or why not?
Yes, I just started teaching at a new school and was still getting to know the children there. They seem like really good kids. [There is also a lot happening now the Iemitsu was on the move.]
- Oh no! Someone tripped and injured themselves right in front of you! What do you do?
Oh no! Are the alright? Hopefully they're not hurt too bad, I know that it hurts sometimes when you trip since I do it a lot. It's important to check and see if there are any injuries and treat them.
- Your country is in the middle of a war. What do you think of it? Do you support it or try to solve it yourself by going on an epic quest? Explain.
[Yukimura's tone shifts as the bright demeanor fades and a cold gaze replaces it.] I will oppose Iemitsu Tokugawa, as I did before. I do not regret anything that I have done, and have no reserves about what I have decided to do by aligning with the Toyotomi clan.
- If someone provoked or attacked you, what would you do?
I would fight to my fullest extent, putting my life on the line if necessary.
- You just got a challenge to fight from one of the strongest gang leaders around. Do you accept or reject? Why?
I would accept the challenge. The put one's life on the line to fight and prove their strength is something that I enjoy.
- Will you make a contract with me? ／人 ◕ ‿‿ ◕ 人＼
No, I have already been entered into a blood pact with Engetsu. I have no interest in entering another with you.
[Third Person]
Once again Yukimura found himself surrounded by children that he was teaching, a young girl pulling on his apron to get his attention and commenting on the number of times that he had fallen or stumbled into something throughout the day. 'Yeah you really down a lot, maybe you should get better glasses.' A boy circles the fingers on each hand and imitates their teacher by pretending to fall over, leading to an argument between the two; which seemed to be becoming a routine at the end of each day for his class.
“You shouldn't fight!” He reached out for a moment before the children looked at him 'Butt out' and resumed what they were saying while he stood and held his hands in front of him and watched, “Yes.” Finally after a moment the bell run releasing them while the students seemed to come to a common ground of defending their teacher before leading the way outside as he saw them off. Standing at the gate Yukimura waved as each child began departing and going their separate ways home, many waving in departure as he waved back.
“See you tomorrow, take care on your way home!”
Turning back to head back to his classroom once he was along again there was a suddenly a white dog next to him as Engetsu appeared and looked up at the man; nose touching his hand before he rested a hand on top of the oni's head for a moment. He had come to really like it here and the kids seemed really nice, though the paper balls that littered the room might have hinted otherwise. Picking up the broom and dust mop he stood at the entrance a moment and standing there for a moment.
“It's time to clean the room.”
[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] Yukimura is one of two characters that I really enjoy from Gate 7, so I figured I would try playing him prior to the other.
[Which rule was your favorite and why?] be nice to other players, common courtesy and being nice makes a game so much more enjoyable.
